TRAITRS drop new cold wave single “Dream Drowning”

Date:

Toronto-based cold wave duo TRAITRS have released their newest single, “Dream Drowning.”

The song showcases the endless loop of horrors of everyday life by way of atmospheric synths, anthemic choruses, and angular guitars. In “Dream Drowning,” TRAITRS attempts to understand the emotion behind the dreams we all have each and every night.

The song has proven to be hauntingly cinematic in its production, with elements from a seemingly dystopian present coinciding with post-punk sensibilities of the past. The lyrics find themselves steeped in emotional depth, further adding to the melancholy feel of the track.

“Dream Drowning” is the seventh track from TRAITRS’ upcoming album POSSESSOR, which is set for release on March 13.
