Rainbow Kitten Surprise announce new album ‘bones’

Date:

Rainbow Kitten Surprise have announced their new album bones will be released on September 26th via Atlantic Records. Pre-order/pre-save for the new record is available here

The genre-bending live sensations promise to deliver their most authentic and elevated project yet that explores love, loss and perseverance. Frontwoman Ela Melo’s vulnerable lyricism mixes with producer and previous collaborator Jay Joyce’s euphoric production to create a record that stays true to the band’s roots while simultaneously showcasing their growth over the last 13 years together. Rainbow Kitten Surprise shares,

“This record is the raw unfiltered sound of Rainbow Kitten Surprise doing what we love to do. We called it ‘bones’ because we were clearing skeletons out of our closet. These were both musical and interpersonal dynamics that we had to release before we could make this record what it is.”

The band previously shared the record’s first single, “Dang,” last month. The track offered a first glimpse into this new era for Rainbow Kitten Surprise and serves as an ode to the fans who have continued to supported them over the years.
