He had me at, “There’s a whole lot of dad moves…”

Crafty pop artist, Patternist, is just trying to navigate reality in his new music video for one of his recent singles, “I Don’t Feel Real.”  Bringing the narrative of the song to life, we see Patternist, whose real name is Gabe Mouer, spend an afternoon with someone who is not exactly “real.”  The couple drive around, enjoy a picnic, and take in the relaxing view of the ocean from their picnic-site.  Despite his numerous attempts to impress her, though, Gabe just cannot seem to get through to his date.  Not even his fantastic dance moves bring her around!  Watch it all unfold below.

Patternist has been slowly working towards dropping his debut album, releasing several EPs and singles over the past few years.  In addition to constantly releasing music, Patternist has been on tour after tour, visiting many venues across the US.  All of the hard work is finally about to pay off, as the album is set to drop on September 6.  You can pre-order it here.
