Minus the Bear cherish memories in new demo “Hooray”

Date:

Minus the Bear is known for their decades-long influence in the music industry. Their music features intricate lyrics and catchy instrumentation that took over the alternative rock-to-indie rock shift in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The new demo of “Hooray” tells a story of growing up.

“Hooray” is about nostalgia. Through deep bass and bright synth, Minus the Bear acknowledges the passing of time and the change that comes with it. The lyrics share, “All these days slip by us / So let’s keep them / All boys, come on, and girls, join up / We’re almost home / All boys, come on, and girls, join up / Just don’t grow old,” showing their desire to cherish the memories they made on their journey of life.

You can listen to the new “Hooray” demo below. The demo will be included on the 20th anniversary 2xLP vinyl reissue of Menos el Oso, out August 22, 2025 via Suicide Squeeze Records.
