Matt Hansen moves forward with “Don’t Look Back”

Date:

Matt Hansen is deep in his feelings again, and we’re here for it. The LA-based singer-songwriter’s latest single, “DON’T LOOK BACK,” is a bold, heart-on-sleeve anthem that captures what it feels like to fall into love.

Opening with stripped-back plucking guitar patterns and Hansen’s smooth vocals, the song develops into a big, confident chorus. It’s a pop anthem that’s full of emotion, building layer by layer until it bursts open in the chorus.

“DON’T LOOK BACK” is exactly what it says: a plea to stay in the present, to not let self-sabotage get in the way of something good because of the past. His voice soars over warm horns and saxophones that bring real The 1975 “Happiness” vibes.

Fresh off a sold-out tour across Australia and New Zealand, Hansen doesn’t look like he’s planning to slow down. He’s joining Dean Lewis on his North American tour early next year. If “DON’T LOOK BACK” is any indication, he’s not just writing love songs – he’s soundtracking his journey moving forward.
