Katie Gavin Announces What A Relief: Debut Solo Album & Tour

Date:

Following the release of her first solo single and music video “Aftertaste”, Katie Gavin surprised fans this morning with the announcement of her debut album “What A Relief”, along with tour dates across North America, as well as a show in London, UK on September 11th.

After 11 years of exclusively making music with indie-pop band, MUNA, Gavin’s solo album is set to release on October 25th on Phoebe Bridgers’ music label, Saddest Factory Records. Of the album, Gavin says “This record spans a lot of my life, it’s about having a really deep desire for connection, but also encountering all the obstacles that stood in my way to be able to achieve that, patterns of isolation or even boredom with the real work of love… What A Relief explores and portrays it honestly, without shame.”

Fans can pre-order What A Relief and sign up for tour pre-sale now at katiegavin.com. General ticket sales for the What A Relief Tour begin on Friday, July 26th at 10am local.
