Joey Miceli Releases “A Scene From Heaven”, Reflects on ‘The Expanded Portrait’

Date:

Pop rock singer-songwriter Joey Miceli released his newest single, “A Scene From Heaven”, on July 19. Since the age of nine, Miceli has created music that is both reflective and ethereal, containing a depth of reflection well beyond his years. His music offers listeners guidance through complex emotions as he creates feelings of connection and understanding.

“A Scene From Heaven” marks the first single on Miceli’s upcoming second official studio album. In the track, he creates a fresh, mature perspective on lost love. Miceli said the track serves as a spot to look back on where he is now compared to the release of his first album, The Expanded Portrait

About the sentiment behind “A Scene From Heaven”, Miceli said:

“Sometimes you experience connections with people where you felt completely content and they struggled. I wanted to express that there’s no need for animosity in that fallout. I witnessed something amazing with you; I’m sorry you couldn’t have the same experience, but I will always have love for you.”
