Pop/rock duo HUMM has just released their debut single, “Who’s This Girl”, an unexpected take on love at first sight. Formed by vocalist Jules Tursini and multi-instrumentalist Todd Vought, the band creates a subtle nostalgic vibe with a fresh twist.

“Who’s This Girl” is a sophisticated pop track, kicking off with a catchy beat that immediately invites the listener to dance, as it evolves into a delicate blend of pop, rock and electronic elements. The sound shifts at every turn, and we’re greeted with an unexpected guitar solo towards the end, as well as some funky riffs that sit back and ground the entire track.

A seemingly straight forward love song, “Who’s This Girl” takes an introspective turn: we’re suddenly faced with a wave of self doubt, questioning the person we’re falling in love with. The song overthinks every twist and turn, creating fake scenarios, thoroughly tapping into this very relatable feeling. The listener is left wondering where this love story is headed, or if it’s even meant to begin in the first place.

“Who’s This Girl” is now available on all streaming platforms.
