Pilgrimage Music Festival 2021 puts on stellar festival

Date:

The sixth edition of Pilgrimage Music Festival took place at the Park in Hinsdale in Franklin, TN last weekend. After taking 2020 off due to Covid concerns, this years festival was fully stacked with a diverse, renowned lineup of Rock & Roll, Americana, Alt-Country, Bluegrass, and many more genres for any festival goer to enjoy. This years line up was highlighted with stellar acts from Dave Matthews Band, The Black Keys, Maren Moris, and Nashville’s favorite Cage The Elephant. Since Pilgrimage is not a camping festival, it can be attractive for anyone looking to experience their first music festival. It is especially attractive for anyone looking for a more chill, laid back vibe. Many patrons have noted they enjoy Pilgrimage due to its cleanliness, sense of safety, and family friendly atmosphere.  The festival is attractive for all age groups.

Black Pumas on Main Stage Sunday Afternoon

After cancellations with CMA and Bonnaroo in 2021, there was a feeling Pilgrimage needed to come through and work out for concert goers in the area. That feeling was validated as all GA tickets were completely sold out days leading up to the event. As the gates opened up on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, there were long lines of patrons awaiting and eager to camp out a prime spot for the day’s headliner acts. The Park in Hinsdale had plenty of space for everyone as thousands started to pour into the grassy fields of the historic farm throughout the day and into the evening. Both days had absolutely great weather with it being sunny and 75 degrees (which is uncommon in Middle Tennessee during this time of year). It was like a higher power wanted everything to go right that weekend and thats exactly how it went. Over 50 total acts performed over the weekend. Maren Moris and the Black Keys highlighted Saturday evening, and Dave Matthews Band rounded out Sunday. There was a sense that the artists were giving their absolute best knowing how important it was to be back playing live music.
