Welcome Stranger releases new track, donating proceeds to those affected by LA wildfires

Date:

Welcome Stranger released their newest single, “When They Let Up,” on Jan. 31. The song, part of their upcoming EP, pays tribute to family and brotherhood — by blood and by choice.

“When They Let Up” is a track perfect for fans of Mt. Joy, The Lumineers, Caamp and Noah Kahan. Its folk feel creates a comforting energy as the tune develops. The single is part of the band’s second-ever EP, You’ll Never Mind How I Leave, which will be available to listeners Feb. 14.

About the EP, the band said:

“This year, we escaped to a cabin to begin crafting a new collection of songs. As the months passed, so did these tracks—evolving with every turn—and we couldn’t be prouder of where they ended up.”

All proceeds from “When They Let Up” will be donated to those affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles.

You’ll Never Mind How I Leave tracklist:
1. “Hoover”
2. “These Things Take Their Time”
3. “When They Let Up”
4. “Lord Knows”
5. “Slow”
