Antidepressants follows their 2022 release, Autofiction, which was their highest-charting album in over 20 years. Frontman Brett Anderson describes Antidepressants as the band’s post-punk record, sharing in a statement:

“It’s about the tensions of modern life, the paranoia, the anxiety, the neurosis. WE are all striving for connection in a disconnected world. This was the feel I wanted the songs to have… This is broken music for broken people.”

The London Suede is also performing a special run of shows at the Southbank Centre, an acclaimed hub for London’s arts and culture. Tickets to the Suede Takeover will be available for pre-sale on Friday, May 23rd on the band’s official website.
