Swedish artist Augustine releases new single titled “Fumbling”

Date:

Augustine, a Swedish songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, has just released a new single titled “Fumbling.”

Born and raised in a small village on the west coast of Sweden, poetry and lyricism were large parts of Augustine’s life. As a kid, he gained inspiration from soulful and creative artists such as Bob Dylan and The National, and now he blends groovy ’70s melodies with playful soundscapes and melancholic stories.

His debut album, Weeks Above The Earth, received two Swedish Grammy nominations for Best Album and Best Alt-Pop in 2022, which has allowed for the growth of a dedicated fan base. He has half a million unique monthly listeners and more than 50M streams worldwide. His craft took shape when he started working with his friends and long-time production partners Rassmus Björnson and Agrin Rahmani (LÉON, Skott, Robinson, Bipolar Sunshine) who attended the same music school as him.

“Fumbling” is a song about searching for something bigger, something that can move you forward again. Poetically speaking, it describes finding the desire to move through the vast darkness surrounding oneself to reach the light at the end of the tunnel.
