shy martin shares addictive alt-pop single “l.o.v.e”

Date:

shy martin has released “l.o.v.e,” an addictive alt-pop track that explores the euphoric feeling of a newfound love. Its atmospheric, nostalgic production infused with rock elements recalls a more laidback version of Børns’ “Electric Love.”

In “l.o.v.e,” the Swedish singer-songwriter immediately pulls in the listener with intimate vocals as she declares, “Shots fired / I’m in l.o.v.e.” The song peaks in the chorus with the introduction of bright guitars as she belts out “I wanna feel alive,” fully capturing the intensity and the rush of falling in love. Meanwhile, its hypnotizing, hooky bridge beautifully blends into the last chorus, a crescendo you hope never comes to an end.

Already an established artist with over 2 billion streams, shy martin’s works as a writer have amassed over 6 billion streams. Since debuting as a featured artist on Mike Perry’s “The Ocean,” she has collaborated with Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Ellie Goulding, and more. In 2025, shy martin returned from a two-year hiatus with the release of singles “…is that bad?” and “dead to me,” which will lead to a full-length project next year.
