Kleo releases stunning new song “Broken Hallelujah”

Date:

Kleo
wears her heart on her sleeve. Her sound materialized from writing songs behind the piano and from a fusion of love for meditation, Vedic astrology, hyper romance, rock n’ roll, and big pop songs. Kleo’s debut EP, I Love This Movie, is about bringing color to life’s experiences and serves as an ode to critical stages of life and its many intricate emotions. The record treats listeners to a gorgeously nostalgic assemblage of songs that are deeply compelling, both lyrically and sonically.

Kleo’s latest song, “Broken Hallelujah,” is an alt-pop track that reflects on life’s ups and downs through the eyes of an optimist. Kleo’s message is to see your reality from a more prominent viewpoint, about growing as an individual. The track is a big pop ballad and an ode to the brokenhearted and “the one who got away.”

“‘Broken Hallelujah’ is a love scene and a tragedy happening in slow motion,” says Kleo. “A sort of requiem to a love that was lost, to begin with. It’s the feeling of bliss and sadness being intertwined, that can be so elevating and heavenly, an emotion so intense, you can’t help but stand in awe of the universe and how we are created. While singing ‘Broken Hallelujah,’ I experience these feelings so purely.”
