Indie pop artist Jordan Tariff returns with his latest single, “Existing.” The soft pop ballad explores how hard it can be to appreciate life as it is given to you, always looking for the next thing to fill your cup and not being grateful for what is right in front of you.
About the message behind the song, Tariff shares in an Instagram caption:
“Life is tricky and it’s confusing but it’s not meant to be one big to do list or a never ending pursuit of accomplishments. I’m constantly moving the flag, promising myself that I’ll be happy whenever I do the next thing rather than appreciating the now.”
Combining a soft, bright guitar with subtle vocal harmonies, the single creates a relaxing and introspective atmosphere perfect for reflection upon the lyrics.
This is the second single released by Tariff as part of the lead-up to his new EP Archives, a continuation of 2025’s EP This Is How I Got Here.
