Flyana Boss is Riding High on their Scorching Sonic Heatwave – Vitamin FB

Date:

Out of Detroit and Dallas, Bobbi Lanea and Folayan Kunerede met in college in Los Angeles and have been on fire ever since. What started as a cheeky exchange of verses over YouTube beats between best friends has grown into an infectious hip-hop movement by which the duo now calls themself Flyana Boss. Their sweltering new EP Vitamin FB features sizzling beats, skull-reverberating percussion, and vocal dynamicism that changes colors like a chameleon. Flyana Boss is gaining viral traction on TikTok and their two-track EP featuring “Hot Tea” and “Fondue” is fresh out the kitchen with a smoke show of sonics set to ignite their generation.

Flyana Boss is hitting that sweet spot between side-splitting and profound with lyrics that toe the line from punchy jabs to universal truths. “Hot Tea” and “Fondue” will hit you over the head with unfiltered charisma and banter that snaps like a rubber band. Flyana Boss taunts, “I know what I like – make me melt like fondue.” Inspired by a pantheon of icons including Michelle Obama, Beyonce, and Cleopatra, Flyana Boss makes music with the intention of inspiring women to build an empire by being unapologetic.

Vitamin FB is a divinely timed release as these two best friends are shattering ceilings with their fathomless thirst for humor meets hip-hop bangers. Tracking their evolution from early days as internet beat connoisseurs bonded by a seed of passion to their current day success story as locked in critics of culture with multi-instrumentalist roots lending to the sonic hurricane approaching, Flyana Boss is at the top of my docket for artists to watch.
