Fairhazel copes with loss in new song “The Seagull”

Date:

Fairhazel’s genuine storytelling and unique sense of humor shine both in and out of the studio. He blends influences from his time spent in South Africa, France, and the United Kingdom with a fresh indie-folk sound. His new song “The Seagull” reflects on loss.

“The Seagull” is about companionship and love. Through raw acoustic guitar and emotional lyrics, Fairhazel describes the habits of his late grandmother through the point of view of the seagull who would visit her. Lyrics share the gentle moments his grandmother experienced, and encourage listeners to find community within their rituals and interests like his grandmother did with the seagull.
