Dylan Dunlap releases “Sometimes” ahead of album, ‘BROOKLYNITE’

Date:

Dylan Dunlap has released a new single, “Sometimes,” as part of the rollout for his upcoming album BROOKLYNITE, set to drop Aug. 8.

The track appears on a four-song EP and was written and produced by Dunlap. “Sometimes” is a mellow indie pop song layered with tense beats and percussive chords. Its lyrics explore the emotional highs and lows of a toxic relationship, navigating love, hate and everything in between.

Dunlap’s passion for music began early. He taught himself piano at age 6 in order to perform in his school’s talent show. Inspired by artists like Coldplay and Mumford & Sons, he released his debut EP, Things I Can’t Explain, in 2019. Since then, he’s achieved several career milestones, including supporting OneRepublic at a sold-out show in Provo, Utah; touring across the U.S. and U.K.; and surpassing 20 million streams, thanks in part to his breakout single “If That’s Alright.”

As Dunlap gears up for BROOKLYNITE, he’s also slated to perform live twice this summer, including these dates.

July 5, 2025 – Hudson, NY – Park Theater (Glori Wilder)
July 23, 2025 – Easton, CT – Greiser’s Coffee & Market

Catch him live this summer and keep an eye out for his upcoming album!
