Bishop Briggs announces Los Angeles EP release show following lead title track, “When It’s Halloween”

Date:

English indie artist and vocal powerhouse Bishop Briggs recently announced her upcoming When It’s Halloween EP, set to release on Oct. 3. The announcement came alongside the release of the haunting title track. The EP will feature five songs, including “When It’s Halloween,” and is available to pre-save on streaming platforms here

Briggs announced her Halloween Spooktacular surprise performance, described as “A special night full of eerie fun and a haunted EP performance.” The release show will take place on Oct. 24 at the Pico Union Project in Los Angeles, California.

Tickets for the Halloween Spooktacular will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, and will be available here (Californians, beware: Costumes are strongly encouraged!).

This is not the first time the “River” singer has released music on a theme for spooky season, most notably her spine-chilling song “JEKYLL AND HIDE” from her sophomore album, Champion. The single features guitar by alt-indie artist K.Flay, and hit the US Rock Charts in 2019.

When It’s Halloween is the first extended release since the “River” singer’s latest album, Tell My Therapist I’m Fine (2024), and its accompanying deluxe edition that debuted earlier this year. The third studio album includes singles “Mona Lisa on a Mattress,” “Good for Me” and “My Serotonin.”

Briggs is also the champion of season nine of the song contest show The Masked Singer in 2023, performing under the disguise of mythological being Medusa and winning against notable celebrities and public figures, including Dick Van Dyke, Howie Mandel and runner-up David Archuleta.
