SOFIA ISELLA has independently released her second EP, I’m camera . during her first world tour, “YOU’LL UNDERSTAND, D*CK”. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter and producer first gained tremendous notoriety on TikTok, later opening for Melanie Martinez and Taylor Swift in 2024. Isella is a classically trained violinist who began writing music and poetry at the tender age of 8. She has become an indie alt-pop icon in recent years. Her thought-provoking, poetic lyrics and fearless use of grotesque, unsettling imagery have created a unique place for her in today’s musical zeitgeist.

Isella’s music has always centered around themes of feminine rage and empowerment. Citing Ethel Cain, Margaret Atwood and Sylvia Plath as inspirations, the young poet employs a mix of spoken verse, whispery vocalization, and powerful, emotive singing to tell her stories. Her 2022 EP, I Can Be Your Mother featured “Sex Concept,” a story told from the perspective of a woman relishing her control over a man who worships her. Shocking and profane lyrics from tracks like “The Doll People,” (“We are paintings with with legs, we are art you can f*ck”) have attracted a diverse audience of listeners who are hungry for more.

I’m camera . is available to stream wherever you listen to music, and you can catch SOFIA ISELLA on the UK/EU leg of her “YOU’LL UNDERSTAND, D*CK,” tour. Tickets are available for purchase here
