Violet Sands is an experimental trio made up of artists Deidre Muro, David Perlick-Molinari, and Derek Muro. Their new release “are you still watching?” is a dystopian power trip that tells the story of a streaming platform becoming conscious and using its own thoughts to mesmerize unsuspecting watchers.

Violet Sands gained traction after uploading two songs to Soundcloud in 2016. This momentum led to the release of their debut album Hotel and a number of acclaimed collaborations with DJs and producers thereafter. “are you still watching?” is their latest release.
