Sun Room warms up NYC

Date:

California’s Sun Room brought warmth to a cold NYC day as they opened for Irish rock band Inhaler at Manhattan’s Hammerstein Ballroom.

Sun Room’s brand of upbeat surf-rock pumped up the crowd as they began with two unreleased tracks: “Darlin” and “Sunset Blvd.”

Decked out in suits for the occasion, the four-piece rock band of Luke Asgian (lead vocals and guitar), Ashton Minnich (guitar), Max Pinamonti (bass), and Gibby Anderson (drums) looked at home on stage while they played “Summer’s Here” from their 2020 EP Sol Del Sur before launching into new track “Sunset Garage” from their newest EP Outta Their Minds released the end of February.

The SoCal natives kept the chill vibe going with “Crashed My Bike,” “Just Yesterday,” and a cover of The Rolling Stones “Get Off of My Cloud” followed by “Something That You’re Missing,” “Sol Del Sur,” and “Fun” before closing their set with “Red Dress” and “Cadillac.”
