Maggie Lindemann teams up with Kellin Quinn for “how could you do this to me?”

Date:

Back in February, Maggie Lindemann kicked off the year with the release of “debbie downer.”  Containing feisty pop punk melodies and enthusiastic vocals from singer-songwriter LØLØ, the track was a promising first look at what we could expect from Maggie in terms of music this year.  Of course, it is no surprise that “debbie downer” has already been streamed over 2 million times, as Maggie definitely knows what she is doing when it comes to infectious music.  Also knowing how to create a smash is Sleeping With Sirens’ Kellin Quinn, who Maggie is teaming up with on her newest single, “how could you do this to me?”

A powerful revenge jam, “how could you do this to me?” tells off anyone who has done you wrong.  Maggie sets the tone in the beginning, asking, “Do you think of me in your dreams?” and admits, “You’re so easy to read.”  After a threatening chorus, where Maggie goes on to say that she’ll “be leaving you out here to bleed,” things escalate even further with Kellin’s signature vocals.  He warns, “You best believe that I’m your worst mistake” and claims, “You know that this won’t last,” bringing to life the devastation implied by the single’s title.  You can check it out below.
